Grilling creates a wonderfully warm, smoky flavor to the avocado. Served as an appetizer or side dish, this avocado will be the star of your next BBQ.

ingredients

1 1 Avocado
1 Tbsp. 1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp. 1 tsp lime juice
2 Tbsp. 2-4 tbsp your favorite salsa
As needed chopped cilantro
As needed kosher salt

Instructions

Cut your avocados in half, remove the seed, and brush them with some lime juice and olive oil. Place flesh-side down on your hot grill for about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the grill and fill the hole with your favorite salsa and top that with a little sour cream. Sprinkle the whole thing with some chopped cilantro, a good sprinkling of kosher salt and maybe another drizzle of lime juice. You can scoop it out with a spoon or serve with tortilla chips. Delicious!
