This smoothie is the perfect way to make sure we’re starting our day off right. Avocados, Pears, and Blueberries blend with vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut milk to make this delicious dairy free, light and yummy breakfast smoothie that's packed with healthy fats, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories.

Ingredients

Serves: 3

1 cup coconut milk
1 cup blueberries
1/2 pear
1/2 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, seeded and peeled
1/4 cup chia seeds
2 tsp. agave syrup, or honey (your preference)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground (or more to taste)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
One to two handfuls of ice

As with all fruits and vegetables, wash avocados before cutting.
Check out our tips for how to choose and use California Avocados.

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender, add ice and blend until smooth.

Serving Suggestion:  Add more cinnamon for a bit more of a kick, add more vanilla and agave for a sweeter smoothie. You could add spinach for a greener smoothie and add more ice to make it a thicker smoothie.

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
