Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
Serving Suggestions: In addition to Mrs. Elizabeth Hass’s dipping favorite of celery sticks add fresh dipping vegetables like baby carrots, cucumber circles, red bell pepper and zucchini sticks. For some zest and more chunks add the juice of a lime and a diced roma tomato.
Beverage Pairings: Delicious with fresh lemonade.
As with all fruits and vegetables, wash avocados before cutting. Check out our tips for how to choose and use California Avocados.

This is simple but a very good veggie dip. I used a little less salt. Mmm!
