Ernie Righetti

California Avocado Grower for over 70 years.

Age 95, Ernie Righetti has spent his entire life farming on the family farm he inherited from his father, and he is continuing the legacy by passing it along to his children. This land has been good to the Righetti family, so they are good to it: they enrich the soil, curb run-off and preserve open spaces in an area ripe for development.

Today, Ernie lives in the house he was born in, with three generations of his family living nearby on the farm. Every tree on the Righetti property is hand-planted, hand-pruned, and every avocado hand-picked.

In addition to being a dedicated farmer, Ernie also gives back to his community through service and philanthropy. The extra care the Righetti family puts into producing California Avocados is a difference you can taste.
