Every year around this time I begin thinking about enjoying more meals outdoors, especially BBQing outside with my friends and loved ones. While I’ve tried many of the summertime recipes that we have available on our website, it never fails that the first things that come to mind when summertime rolls around are produce-filled salads and juicy burgers.
To me, there’s just nothing more summery than the first crunch of a refreshing summer salad and the smell of burgers on the grill – my mouth is watering just thinking of it! My only dilemma? Choosing which recipe – burger or salad – to serve as an entrée on my summer barbecue menu. Of course, dietary restrictions sometimes help me decide which recipe is the right one to serve, like when my friends who are vegetarians or follow a Paleo diet come for a visit.
