CAC Avocado Theft Reporting Hotline
In order to further to minimize ag theft, it is vital that growers report any theft that they have experienced. You can report theft directly to law enforcement or through CAC’s Avocado Theft Reporting Hotline. The purpose of the hotline is to collect information regarding recent theft incidents and provide this information to local law enforcement agencies with the aim of getting them to increase patrolling for agricultural theft in specific areas. Information can be submitted to the hotline by emailing AvoTheft@avocado.org, or by calling (949) 754-0733. Please remember to provide the following information when reporting: your name, contact phone number, address or intersection where theft occurred, date of theft, time of theft, pounds of fruit stolen, and any other items taken or vandalized.
